Zion National Park

Zion National Park is a unique and awe-inspiring destination located in the southwestern United States. It is known for its stunning canyons, towering cliffs, and lush forests. The park has a long and rich history, beginning with its first inhabitants – the Native American Paiutes – to its current status as a protected national park. The area was also home to Mormon settlers who named it Zion in homage to the biblical city of Jerusalem. 

Zion National Park is located southeast of Salt Lake City, Utah. It covers an area of 1,957 square miles and features a wide range of geological features that are home to a variety of plant and animal species. 

Its vast canyons offer visitors breathtaking views of nature’s beauty while its cliffs see, overwhelming and enclosing.

From the majestic Zion Canyon to the emerald pools of the Virgin River, there’s something for everyone to explore in this park. .A journey through Zion National Park is a feast for your eyes, taking you from the red rock mountain wilderness to the emerald pool-fed rivers. With 3.2 million acres of land, this is one big park!

  1. Fabulous…..didn’t knee you’d driven through there. I landed by small plane, so saw a minimal area…..still amazing.
