    Thanks for the information about Sapa. Ros and I visited Sapa in 2003 while making our way south from Ho Chi Minh city. We found Sapa to be a fascinating place but it wouldn’t surprise me if it has been spoilt since we visited by the construction of large hotels and the influx of many tourists. This was starting to occur while we were there with several hotels under construction.
